You’ve launched your website, don’t neglect it

So you’ve made an investment and worked hard with your designer and team to launch your website, now what? Most designers or studios will collect the balance owed, then jump ship and move on to the next project. Well that doesn’t happen with us! As we’re approaching launch date, I make it clear to my clients that we won’t abandon them and that this is just the beginning of a successful partnership and journey ahead.

It all starts with educating my clients on the proper website management plan. Like a new boat, if you don’t keep it maintained such as getting the oil changed and serviced on a regular basis, eventually things start to go wrong and the costs begin to accumulate. Worse yet, if you don’t take it in and further neglect it, the engine seizes up and it ends up on dry land in the shipyard of wrecks. Guess what folks, your website isn’t any different. If you don’t get the proper monthly care and maintenance, your website will eventually start to break, you’ll lose customers and your business will end up drying up. Then on top of that, you’ll end up paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars for a web developer to fix it. Unfortunately when this happens it’s often too late because those unhappy customers have already left and spread the word about the bad experience they’ve had with your website.

Please don’t let this happen. Your website is going to need to be maintained on a monthly basis and we can help.

Your website is crucial

Your website is crucial to your business. It generates leads, customers, and revenue (or at least it should). It’s where customers, suppliers, new staff and partners will find you. It is fundamental to the success of your business and you want peace of mind that it will be available for your audience without interruption, and that it will continue to support ongoing growth.

All software is vulnerable

All software needs updating, including the software that powers your website. More and more websites are getting hacked and attacked, including the big names like Twitter and Facebook as well as millions of small businesses everyday. It’s the nature of the world we live in and unfortunately websites are an easy target, especially if they’re not updated in a timely manner.

Can you do it yourself?

Your WordPress and WooCommerce platform is made up of a number of extensions (software) that work together to bring your website to life. These extensions and platforms are being continuously improved upon which require monthly updating to keep everything working properly. Also, most of these extensions require annual subscription fees to keep them active. All this is taken care of for you under your website management plan. Technology and strategies continue to evolve and it takes an experienced web developer to keep abreast of all the developments.

Web Care plans to the rescue

We’re WordPress and WooCommerce specialists and know the software your website is built on inside and out. We’ve been using WordPress for over 10 years and all of our websites (including this one) are built on that same software. Whether you choose us or someone else, your website will need to be maintained on a monthly basis. Getting onboard with us means you can relax while your website continues to drive attention and customers into your business.

I hope you’ve learned how important it is to stay onboard and continue our ongoing relationship together. Your success depends upon it.

We offer three different plans to choose from based on your needs and requirements. If you have any questions, please drop us a line.
